WAKI, Go test ride a 2000 Giant NRS to understand what really bad brake jack is. Seated, standing, pretty much whenever you touched the rear brake with momentum, the pedals would tug at you feet, and lock-up. Trust me, unless you've experienced bad brake jack, you don't know what it's like.
I also agree that current frame designs have really minimized this to the point of being pretty much a non-issue (all brands.)
Great stuff! Love articles like this.
Not a big fan of their bikes, but I gotta say, gchronz, I like your idea of "wager" It does seem to fit in with the other names of their bikes. Cool idea.
RC on Pinkbike Cool!!
WOW Great review! I'm at the Cleveland Ray's every weekend, and our rock garden doesn't look that cool...do want!
That looks pretty cool! I like the idea that there is a reduction drive and the direct drive is where you'd use 90% of your gear range. That's why I don't really like the Hammerschmidt, it uses a 22t direct drive, and an overdrive for the normal range.
Great review - Looks like a fun bike!
No kidding, what's the deal with wanting super-extra-thin pedals, and then wearing shoes with a mega thick sole? I don't get it.
Awesome! Can't wait to read the review of how they perform over the riding season.
Great review! One of my favorite new bikes. The video you guys put together is awesome!
I have to say, as a Mitsubishi EVO IX owner, your van is killer!! What is it? We never got anything like that in the States. Keep up the good work on the reviews!
I've been using a Command Post for about 6 months now. Really transforms the way I ride, can't imagine riding without it.
As a user, I've got to say this review is very accurate.
